Terms of Service
These terms describe the basic rules for using Connect AI, including accounts, business content, embedded widgets, acceptable use, AI services, and service responsibilities.

1. Using Connect AI
By accessing or using Connect AI, you agree to use the service lawfully and in accordance with these terms. If you are using the service for a business, you represent that you have authority to do so.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity performed through your account. Do not share credentials in a way that could compromise another person's access or business data.
3. Business content and permissions
You retain responsibility for content, documents, knowledge sources, instructions, customer information, and other material that you provide to Connect AI. You must have the necessary rights, permissions, notices, and lawful basis to use that material and to have it processed by the service.
4. Embedded widgets and visitor data
If you embed a Connect AI widget on a website or other service, you are responsible for configuring the widget appropriately, maintaining any required privacy notices, and ensuring that your use of visitor or customer information complies with applicable law. You must not use Connect AI to collect information that you are not authorized to collect or process.
5. AI-generated responses
AI responses can be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. Connect AI is a software tool and does not guarantee that an AI response is correct or suitable for a particular business, legal, financial, medical, emergency, safety-critical, or other high-impact decision. Review important outputs before relying on them.
6. AI provider processing
Connect AI may use third-party AI providers to generate responses, classify requests, create embeddings, or perform other AI-related processing. Relevant input, including conversation content and retrieved business knowledge, may be transmitted to the provider configured for the service. You authorize such processing only to the extent necessary to provide the service and subject to applicable provider terms and privacy documentation.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use Connect AI to break applicable laws, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, abuse other users, distribute malicious software, bypass security or usage limits, conduct unlawful surveillance, or process information in a way you do not have the right to process.
8. Service availability
We aim to keep Connect AI reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, outages, updates, infrastructure failures, AI-provider failures, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
9. Third-party services
Connect AI may depend on third-party infrastructure, hosting, authentication, storage, and AI providers. Their services may have separate terms, availability limits, privacy policies, retention practices, and processing locations. Connect AI does not control third-party services.
10. Security and responsible use
We implement security controls appropriate to the testing service, but no internet service is completely secure. You must promptly report suspected unauthorized access, compromised credentials, security issues, or inappropriate exposure of business data through the available support channels.
11. Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or suspended when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, business data, or security, or when these terms are violated. You may stop using the service at any time. Data handling after termination is governed by the Privacy Policy and any applicable agreement.
12. Intellectual property
The Connect AI software, branding, interface, and underlying technology remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. These terms do not transfer ownership of the platform to you. You retain rights in content that you provide, subject to the permissions necessary for Connect AI to operate the service.
13. Changes
We may update these terms as Connect AI evolves. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective means you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
14. Connect AI testing status
Connect AI is currently in testing and development and is not currently operated through a registered company or incorporated business entity. Features, integrations, AI systems, availability, and functionality may change, be suspended, or be discontinued during testing.
